experiencia del ciclista profesional Sergio Mantec\u00f3n Guti\u00e9rrez. Durante su ejecuci\u00f3n, ha realizado cerca de diez pruebas, sugiriendo las modificaciones necesarias para <strong>asegurar que el circuito que se estaba construyendo fuese seguro y ciclable<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Sergio Mantec\u00f3n Guti\u00e9rrez<\/strong> es un deportista espa\u00f1ol que compite en la categor\u00eda de ciclismo de monta\u00f1a, en la especialidad de campo a trav\u00e9s. Empez\u00f3 en el mundo de la competici\u00f3n deportiva con 15 a\u00f1os a nivel regional, y en 2002 vivi\u00f3 su primera experiencia internacional debutando en su primer mundial. Su \u00faltimo t\u00edtulo, <strong>Campe\u00f3n de Espa\u00f1a de XCM en 2023.<\/strong><\/p><p>Una vez finalizado el pump track, Sergio ha probado las instalaciones antes de su apertura al como campe\u00f3n de Espa\u00f1a en la modalidad XCM. \u00bfC\u00f3mo te preparas para una carrera como esta?<\/strong><\/p><p>Para llegar a ganar una carrera al m\u00e1ximo nivel en la \u00e9lite, no solo hace falta una preparaci\u00f3n de meses previos, sino que es una preparaci\u00f3n de toda una carrera deportiva.<\/p><p>\u00a0Se puede decir que la cuenta empieza desde que aprend\u00ed a montar en bici. Desde entonces cada a\u00f1o he ido subiendo de nivel, empec\u00e9 en la competici\u00f3n con 15 a\u00f1os a nivel regional, y en 2002 compet\u00ed mi primer mundial. A partir de ah\u00ed el nivel ha ido subiendo hasta poder conseguir un campeonato de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p><p><strong>Adem\u00e1s de los entrenamientos diarios que realizas con tu bicicleta \u00bfCon qu\u00e9 disciplinas complementas tus entrenamientos?<\/strong><\/p><p>Por suerte, en el mundo de la bicicleta hay submundos, y hay muchas disciplinas. Dentro de la bici practico mountain bike, bicicleta de gravel, bici el\u00e9ctrica\u2026 A parte de eso, me gusta mucho el senderismo, el trade running, y por necesidad de preparaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica tambi\u00e9n voy mucho al gimnasio.<\/p><p><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo ha sido el proceso de pruebas de este pump track? \u00bfSe han realizado muchos cambios conforme lo ibas probando?<\/strong><\/p><p>Ha habido bastantes cambios. El objetivo era conseguir un circuito seguro, por lo que para llegar hasta ah\u00ed se han tenido que hacer muchas modificaciones en lo que es la estructura en tierra, para que una vez asfaltado, fuese firme y ciclable.<\/p><p>El dise\u00f1o sobre el papel siempre queda bien, pero en la pr\u00e1ctica no hay una ciencia exacta, no existen \u00e1ngulos exactos en la curvatura de los peraltes y los altos que siempre vayan a funcionar, es cuesti\u00f3n de probar, y cada ciclista tiene sus gustos y preferencias.<\/p><p>He realizado entre 8 y 10 pruebas y en cada una hac\u00edamos informes y correg\u00edamos junto al resto del equipo de construcci\u00f3n hasta conseguir la instalaci\u00f3n que vemos hoy.<\/p><p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 sensaci\u00f3n has tenido al recorrer el circuito una vez finalizado? \u00bfCu\u00e1l dir\u00edas que es el nivel que necesita una persona que viene a probarlo?<\/strong><\/p><p>En cada visita y prueba que realizaba, el estado del circuito estaba mejor y m\u00e1s pulido. Pero ahora, una vez asfaltado, con la resina por encima para que las ruedas deslicen mucho mejor, y sobre todo en aspecto visual, ha quedado muy chulo. En parte me siento art\u00edfice de este proyecto tan bonito.<\/p><p>Bajo mi criterio, est\u00e1 enfocado a un nivel medio alto, a gente que suele practicar bici y est\u00e1 acostumbrada a rodar en pump track.<\/p><p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 recomendaciones haces para los que quieren practicar este circuito?<\/strong><\/p><p>Dentro de lo que es la pista, hay trazadas m\u00e1s seguras y trazadas m\u00e1s expertas. Al principio lo m\u00e1s seguro son las partes m\u00e1s bajas de los peraltes, lo m\u00e1s hacia el interior posible y donde hay menos desnivel. Conforme se va cogiendo nivel y seguridad, se puede ir aumentando la velocidad al pasar por las curvas e incluso se puede ir enlazando un salto con otro.<\/p><p><strong>Instalaciones como estas, \u00bfQu\u00e9 crees que aportan a una ciudad y a sus vecinos? \u00bfCrees que favorecen el aumento de los aficionados a este deporte?<\/strong><\/p><p>Sobre todo, es una actividad m\u00e1s para la gente del pueblo. Igual que hay instalaciones para otros deportes, ahora todos los amantes de la bici y los pump track tienen una instalaci\u00f3n de gran nivel, deben sentirse privilegiados.<\/p><p>Este tipo de instalaciones tambi\u00e9n atrae mucho turismo de pump track y favorece el aumento de este deporte, hay mucha tradici\u00f3n en Espa\u00f1a y cada vez hay m\u00e1s aficionados. Existe un turismo de pump track, gente que se dedica a ir cada fin de semana a descubrir nuevos circuitos porque cada uno es completamente diferente.
